From the Männlichen plateau (2230 m), the hiking path leads steeply down towards Wengen to the fork at Barwengi. An even steeper alternative path leads via Mossenegg. The path continues south, passing under the aerial cableway along the Männlichen rockfalls to the Café Oberland. From here an easy path runs down to Wengen (1275 m).
